We will take a guided tour of the Art Farm and the cottages used by participants in Serenbe's Artist-in-Residence Program, as well as have a chance to mingle with the staff who bring Serenbe to life. We will even meet Serenbe's founders, native Atlantans Steve and Marie Nygren, and learn about their beliefs in the importance of art and culture and the inspirations they took from the High Museum.
The Director of the Artist-in-Residence Program will speak about the program, and one of the residents will join us to speak about the experience. Staff from the film and entertainment areas will also share information about their programming.
Afterward, participants will have an opportunity for open dialogue with staff to learn more about the lives of filmmakers, artists, and actors in Atlanta. Musical entertainment will be provided courtesy of the Serenbe musical department. Participants are encouraged to enjoy all that Serenbe has to offer both before and after the Art Hour programming, including visits to the General Store, various restaurants and sweet shops, and miles of trails that surround the property. You can even transform this event into a weekend getaway by staying at the Inn at Serenbe.
All reservations for lunches, dinners, and stays at the Inn must be made in addition to the purchase of your event ticket. Each participant must purchase an individual ticket for the Art Hour and Serenbe Art Farm tour. Ticket price is $15 (plus tax) per participant and includes admission to Art Hour, the guided tour, and a complimentary beverage.
