Art Farm helped build a community coalition including the City of Chattahoochee Hills, Rodale Institute, Bear Creek Nature Center, and Hillside Farm to pursue and maintain the nationally recognized designation as a Bee City USA affiliate. This coalition has formed a community committee, led by Thomas Peters and Mary Collins-Shepard, to guide and govern commitments to pollinator health, education and habitats on both public and private lands throughout the City. Further, Art Farm and Serenbe’s Landscape Committee partnered with Bear Creek Nature Center to rehabilitate an education pollinator garden on their campus and form an annual community pollinator education event in the spring.

On August 2nd, 2022, the City of Chattahoochee Hills unanimously passed a resolution designating the City a Bee City USA affiliate.
