Sep 14, 2023

Jon Goode, acclaimed storyteller and host of Art Farm's upcoming event "Voice: A Night of Spoken Word," recently appeared on WABE's City Lights with Lois Reitzes. In his interview, Goode discussed the power of storytelling, stating "It brings us closer and makes us one thing. Like a quilt, it's one thing that can keep us all warm."

Goode spoke to his excitement about "Voice: A Night of Spoken Word," which will feature performances from four award-winning spoken word artists and poets, as well as his sister Tiffany Goode's jazz-fusion band Goode Stuff Experience.  Jon Goode also emphasized the importance of humor when addressing heavy topics in his work: “Sometimes I use humor as a device to get across a message that may be a little hard to digest and that makes it easier to digest." Audiences attending Voice can look forward to an evening of laughter, music, and powerful narratives from the celebrated artists on stage.

Tickets are still available to "Voice: A Night of Spoken Word," which will take place on September 23 at the Wildflower Meadow as part of Art Farm's first-ever "Under the Tent" Series.
